Rachel was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. In 2019, Rachel graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After the passing of a dear friend, she felt it was her calling to assist those that are grieving, and thus began her journey into the funeral industry. She joined the Altmeyer team in December of 2021 as a Funeral Service Intern and graduated Cum Laude from Tidewater Community College with her A.A.S. in Funeral Service in December 2022. Rachel takes great pride in providing the highest level of care to the deceased and their loved ones. She is a proud vegetarian and enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and taking her dogs on outdoor adventures.
