Izzy serves the Commonwealth of Virginia as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She joined the Altmeyer family as an associate in September 2020 and went on to become an apprentice in February 2021. She holds an A.A.S. degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Services from Tidewater Community College.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her soulmate, Jo, their two kids, Lei and Miles, and their black cat, “Kitty”. She also loves jigsaw puzzles, taking care of her plants, and outdoor activities like hiking and roller skating.
