To the Boisvert family,
We are very saddend, and pass on our condolences to the Boisvert family. We will miss Woodie’s smile, humor and his expertise. My your family continue to be blessed!
I am so thankful for the years I was able to call Woodie family and friend. I have so many wonderful memories of the times spent together … holidays filled with family, food and traditions like our trips taking all of the kids to Coleman Nursery after a delicious family feast at Thanksgiving, and weekly Saturday nights watching Gaither Homecoming videos in the family den, where Woodie would get so touched by the music and inspirational messages. I started collecting old tins, and Woodie followed suit, with his collection far surpassing mine, and it was heartwarming to see his excitement as he proudly shared his collection. Although the years took us in different directions, he always held a special place in my heart. While his passing is deeply saddening, it brings joy in knowing he has now received his heavenly reward and he is now singing with those he loved so much from the Gaither friends who passed on before him. Rest in peace, Woodie, and thank you for the wonderful memories that I will forever cherish.
Our condolences to the Boisvert Family. Woody was not only our “go to” plumber, but a very good friend of the family for years. His good humor and infectious personality will be sorely missed.
I was in the Navy with Woodie in France and Norfolk in the 60’s, I got out in 1968 and he was still in. We remained friends every since we met, I left Norfolk in 1979 but moved to Roanoke, VA. In 1982. I traveled with my job and would come to Norfolk from time to time and would stop and see him while I was in town. My wife and I went to his 65th birthday party and thankfully we stopped by when we were in town in the spring to visit.
I will miss “ How you doing Neighbor” and all the stories we used to swap over the years. Funny I visited Rockwood, TN while we were in the Navy and working for the railroad I ended up there for a week years later.
I will miss you Neighbor!

I will forever remember Woodley as the cousin that always, always, always saw the lighter side of life. He brought so much joy to our family. My thoughts and prayers are with you now during this time and wish I could be there to tell you personally.
