William T. Congleton, Jr., age75, of the 2400 block Peritan Rd. passed away June 14th, 2022. He was born October 21st, 1946 in Norfolk, VA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years Kaye Congleton and his parents William T Congleton, Sr. & Margaret Congleton.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 5 years Michelle Congleton, his son Thomas Congleton, wife Amy, two granddaughters Bailey and Abby Congleton.

He grew up near a Robins Corner in Virginia Beach, VA  and graduated from Cox High School 1967. After high school he was drafted into the United States Army and served his country in Vietnam.  His career after his service turned to the communications industry where he was well known. Always being known for having a open mind and open heart for everyone, he will be dearly missed by all.

A memorial service was held for William on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 2pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home 5033 Rouse Drive, VA Beach, VA 23462.

So sorry to hear about Bill’s passing. I met him when purchasing a phone system for our business and we became friends.

Michelle he loved you and thought you were the world’s greatest cook! He loved Tom and family too.
