I only spoke with Sid a couple of times, but I know his son (Brian). Someone that could raise a wonderful human like Brian, must be a wonderful human themselves. Sending my deepest condolences to the family.
I was sad to hear about Sid’s passing but immediately felt joy in knowing that he is absent from the body and present with the Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with Brian, Susan and Sylvia. Sylvia and Sid were always so close from childhood and how helpful she was up to the end. Sid’s sweet smile will always be remembered.
Our deepest sympathy to the family. May his memory be eternal.
Our hearts and prayers are with you all. Many memories with him at Aunt Christine’s with my dear Grandmother. May you find comfort in knowing we will all be together again with our Lord. May your memories give you happiness and may God give you comfort. We love you all.

We were saddened to learn of Sid’s declining health & the loss of his presence with his dear family. Blessed by a loving family, a long life, and an intellectual curiosity, Sid always had time for a game of tennis or a seafood buffet on or near the beach, with family or friends. Many memories of his easy smile & his relaxed style with people, of all ages. Our love & sympathy to his family…
Heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Ives; I only had the pleasure of meeting him once, but he always sent me messages through his son (my best friend).
I always felt special because Mr. Sid always remembered me and sent positive thoughts and words of encouragement.🙏🌻.
I will always remember him for his kind words.

Going forward every time I have to pick my own crab I will remember sitting next to Sid and how much better the job was done when he did it for me…-dfk
