I was saddened to hear the news of my former co-worker’s passing. Bill had a lot of interesting stories he use to share with me.

Billy, what a shock. We remember growing up with you and your brothers and, of course, the sound of your drum-playing from the garage. We will not see you anymore coming by your parents house in Yonkers. You were one of the only people in the neighborhood who actually talked to anyone–be it on the sidewalk or lawn or taking a walk. It wasn’t just your new Southern nature–you were always like that. Now you are with your whole family again. God bless everyone you left behind who were so near and dear to you. There is a little less sparkle in this world now with you gone.

Bill, I worked with you for 20 years..you were always a source of knowledge, eager to share and help the rest of us and, with a grin on my face, I fondly remember that you were never the first one at the clock to punch in but you were always there each day. RIP brother and I’m sending condolences to Dianne and your family on their loss.

Dianne (“birthday twin”) I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn’t know your husband, but from what I’ve read about him I would have very much. You always wrote so lovingly about him on FB too. It was so cute when you called him pookie.☺️ Dianne I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers for strength and peace in the coming weeks and beyond. ❤️❤️

Dianne words aren’t enough to express my sorrow. Bill was so devoted to you and his family. I loved that he came to our milk and cookies hours. He was so sweet and so willing to join in on our conversations. He never missed giving me a hug or kiss when he came to join us. May God keep him in a happy loving place. Sending many prayers and lots of love to you and your family. Love you!

I always loved when Bill would join us at our Happy Hours to meet Dianne. Loved our conversations about music and who was coming into town next and what concerts we remembered. Such a great guy. The best. I will miss him. Love you Bill. All my best to Dianne and the family.
