SSG William “Will” Paul Shine III, 31, of Newport News, VA, passed away on Thursday, December 15,
2016 after a 7 month long battle with leukemia. Will proudly served his country as a US Army Sergeant.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Morgan Lee Dill Shine, son William Paul Shine IV, mother and
father William Paul Shine Jr and Annette K. Shine, and siblings Lucas JJ Shine and Katherine OA Shine. A
mass will be held in Will’s memory on Monday, December 19 at 2pm at the Fort Eustis Regimental
Memorial Chapel, 923 Donnelson Pl. Newport News, VA 23604. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made in Will’s honor to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
