Nancy & family,
I just discovered Walter’s passing and sorry Dorothy & I missed the funeral. We have many good memories with Walter at OT and sure miss his teasing and laugh. We have a great memory when Walter played Santa Claus. He drove out to my house in Caroon Farms in Great Bridge dressed up and knocked on my door. I believe my son was 4 years old. When I opened the door, Walter did the Santa Claus act HO HO HO and my son said, “you are not Santa Claus you are Mr. Pope!!” We rolled with laugher because he did look like Santa Claus. My son recognizing Walter in his Santa Claus suit was a testament to Walter’s personality and influence on my son the few times I brought him to OT. Great memories. We will miss him and our condolences to you and your family.
Larry, Dorothy & Rumsey family.
Ms Susan & Ms Beth, our condolences to you and your family. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Mrs. Pope,
My prayers are for you and your family at this time. Mr. Pope was a wonderful, fun-loving, caring, and great friend. He enjoyed children and our POV staff. I enjoyed his sense of humor and will treasure “Santa Pope’s” memory always. Love you and thinking of you. Karen Tyree
I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for God to be with you and your family during this difficult time. Take care 🙂
Dink Senior was a true gentleman and his support of children’s activities was legendary. It has been a pleasure to have been associated with him in past years through Troop 362 Boy Scouts of America. Our condolences to the Pope Family And I am humbly grateful to have seen him recently after a great deal of time had passed under Life’s Bridge. Jan&Chris Walck
God bless you all. Dad Pope will be missed!
Susan, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have such warm memories of your Dad and all of the times at the baseball field, he so loved every minute of it! May God give you strength and peace. Love, Karla
God bless the whole Pope Family. Walter was such a positive force in Job’s Daughters. He was a true Christian gentleman and a perfect person to whom the girls could look for guidance and support. So many of us adults looked to him for that guidance, too. Though we may not have seen him as often as the years passed, we will truly miss Walter. Our sincere condolences to Nancy and family.
Susan and family – May God wrap his loving arms around you all during this most difficult time.
Dear Beth an all the family. Our deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad. You all are in our thoughts and heart. We love you. Our deepest regards to your Mom, take carr of her. We love you, Carol and Jor
