I just found out that your mom passed. She was my beloved Great-Aunt, i loved her dearly. So many great memories of family get-togethers! I phoned her some years ago while she was in Lynchburg and she invited me to come stay with her, she saus, “Leave yiur husband home, it will just be us girls, we’ll go shopping!” Her sense of humor and warmth will always stay with me. The stories of how she shared in helping raise my mom are heartfelt. – Debbie

Virginia was my Sunday School teacher when David was just learning to walk and kept slipping on the hardwood floors. We were at her house for a meeting and I remembered my mom saying put adhesive tape on the bottom of their shoes and we did and he walked without slipping! Our class thought the world of your mom and dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

My sincere sympathy to the Herndon family. I treasure my fond memories of worshiping with the family years ago at Trinity Baptist, Norfolk. May God bless you with His peace and comfort .
