Always called her Mrs. Gilbert. I have know her for over 44 yrs. She was like a second mother and grandmother to my kids. Always fond memories of her and Andy. I couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor. Life made a little easier for me. Bless her and Andy.

I remember Ms Thelma when Little Jimmy was just a young boy. She was always smiling and beautiful. She has a good soul and I know many people will miss her. Memories will make sure she is never forgotten. She will be in our hearts.

Today I just came back from giving my best friend a farwell kiss. We have been friends since we first met 60 years ago. Her son, Jimmy Gilbert, married my daughter, Martha Warner, and ever since then we were the best of friends. We share the same grandson, Jimmy Gilbert Jr. Long ago, Thelma and I held together a song book in church, many times. She was a true blessing in my life. I will always love and cherish our frienship. Untill we meet again.
