Virginia Beach – Taylor Foster Wilt, 32, died on December 8, 2015. Taylor was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Caroline F. Wilt and the late Ronald L. Wilt. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister. Taylor loved spending time with her family and listening to music. Her smile was effortless, her heart overflowing and her kindness and thoughtfulness undeniable. Taylor’s needs were few and simple: people and animals…to love, hold, treasure and protect. She imparted true joy on those she loved and because God looks on the inside, at the heart, He wanted Taylor to come and share hers with him.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Caroline Wilt of Virginia Beach; children, Kayla Marie Wilt-Abbott and Kendall Mary Wilt-Abbott; her fiancé and the father of her children, Lawrence Abbott of Virginia Beach; sister, Kellyn Eason and her husband, Carlos; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will be celebrating Taylor’s life on Tuesday at 3:30 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o TMCFunding.com. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

She was there for me in many ways through out high-school and in between. As I’m posting this I can hear her voice and all our inside jokes we had. I just literally saw a movie pop up that reminded me of her tonight and I guess that was her way of saying HEY.
Still in shock. I will never forget her.
Love and healing thoughts to all who loved her.

It’s important to remember the memories we have with each other in life because that’s all we have. It’s not money or material things that really matter. I will always cherish my crazy fun times with Taylor. The time we sang karaoke “Free Bird” at the top of our lungs to a bar full of strangers. She was my friend who didn’t care what anyone thought. When she went through hard times I listened and tried to help. I wish she knew how much I cared about her even though time had passed us by and we weren’t as close. Her smile and laughter will never leave my memory. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you Taylor.
