Susan Ann Bond

Virginia Beach – Susan Ann Bond, 65, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015.
Left to cherish her memory are her 2 sisters, Martha-Ann Della Camera and Elizabeth Ann Flynn & her husband Michael Edward Flynn; 2 nephews, Michael Edward Flynn, Jr. & his wife Michelle Flynn and Jason Bond; and 2 nieces, Tracey Bond Portillo & her husband Jesus Portillo and Shannon Erin Flynn; 2 great-nieces, Emma Clare Flynn, and Stella Ruby Flynn and 1 great-nephew, Cristopher Michael Portillo.
Aunt Suzie, also known as Sue, liked many things indoors but loved the outdoors and the many adventures it brought: Beach….Surf……Pool…..Sun, Whale Watching, White Water Rafting, Fishing and Camping, Animals & Reptiles that lived in the outdoors, and she loved Lighthouses. But she also loved & adored CATS and had owned many over the years of her life. When the weather was bad – especially all the years when she lived in RI, she did Arts and Crafts and Crocheted for church bazaars. Aunt Suzie enjoyed playing games with her nieces and nephews. Her favorite actor was Cary Grant & her favorite singer was Elvis Presley. One of Susan’s most exciting trips was the DIOCESAN 125TH JUBILEE PILGRIMAGE TO ROME/FLORENCE AND ASSISSI which for her group included a private seating with Pope John Paul II.
A memorial service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held on Monday, December 14th at 1:00 pm in Altmeyer Funeral Home – Oceanfront Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave., Virginia Beach, 23451.
