My sincere condolences to the Bauwens family. I met Steve in 1994 before joining Managed Care Resouces and always appreciated his help and guidance back then.

As I find myself returning to where I started in Virginia (i.e., LTC pharmacy), I fondly recall my early days after moving down to VA from New England with Managed Care Resources/Center for Health Information/Therapeutic Information Center/The Center for LTC Research & Education (I think I covered all the permutations) . . . Steve was a prominent contributor, professional mentor, and IT guru. We all wore many hats in those days. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to Steve’s personal and professional families.

My deepest condolences to Steve’s family and friends. Steve and I met at EdLogics during our monthly virtual team bonding event. Steve made quite an impression. He was a great guy! I loved how his smile could brighten the darkest day. When having a conversation with him, he always listened attentively and kept you engaged. He will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace Steve.???️???️

A very kind, thoughtful and gracious individual, Steve was a great colleague to work with. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Steve until recent years, he is someone I truly admired and respected. Steve’s compassionate and helping character as a professional will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. My prayers and blessings are extended to the family.
