Stephen Quintero

Stephen Quintero, 67, of Newport News passed on Friday, 9/2. He was born to Raymond and Frances Quintero in NYC, NY where he was mostly raised as well as Colombia. He met the love of his life and best friend Maria. Upon graduating high school, Stephen enlisted in the United States Navy where he spent a great deal traveling and retired after 22 years.
Stephen and Maria had 3 beautiful children and he enjoyed spending time and traveling with his family. He loved the beach, walking, the family dog “Meeko”, playing board games/cards, dominos, cornhole and being a handyman.
Stephen was a man of honor, value, and most importantly, LOVE.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Frances Quintero; son, Stephen J. Quintero; daughters, Adriana Hookland (Daniel) and Jamayra Torres-Morales; siblings, Ray Quintero Jr., Ruben Quintero, Christine Quintero, Ligia Remsen, and Alexander Quintero; grandchildren, Jacario, Drahcir, Kaleigha, Mia, Joseph, Khaiden, Santino, and Giselle, along with other family and many friends.
