SONDRA JOAN FLEMING RACHEL
VIRGINIA BEACH- Sondra Joan Fleming Rachel, 74, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was born in Virginia to the late Kenos Farrell Fleming and Ruth Fleming. Sondra was a member of Valley View Freewill Baptist Church in Clintwood, Virginia.
She is survived by two children, David French and wife Nancy, and Tina Fritz and husband Billy; three grandchildren, Kelly French, and Lindsey Christina Fritz and Erica Morgan Fritz; sister, LaVerne Mullins; and a very special friend and caregiver, Helene “Cookie” Pohlman.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1801 Baltic Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Burial will take place at a later date in Sowards Cemetery in Clintwood, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley View Freewill Baptist Church, W. Main Street, Clintwood, Virginia 24228.
