Silvana Allen, 91, of Denbigh, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2020.
She was born on January 19, 1929 to Luigi and Maria Cusma Volpato.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Ondina (Otto) Franco, and brother Gino (Brunetta) Volpato.
In her youth, her schooling included opera. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, macrame, knitting, crocheting, reading, cooking, chess, playing cards, being around people, trips to Hawaii, karaoke and singing Italian songs. She even sang with Don Ho at a luau! She was affectionately called Nona by her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was a cancer survivor.
Silvana is survived by the love of her life of 70+ years, Norman; her 4 daughters Linda (Bernie), Claudette (Don), Debbie (Dave), and Pat (Sonny) and her son Andy; grandchildren Terry, Chris, Anthony, Greg, Shannon, Marla and Jamie; great-grandchildren Jesse, Jackson, Leah, Aaron, Nathan, Anna, Clayton, Garrett, Wyatt and Chelsey Rae. Silvana is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy and Brazil.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
A celebration of life will be held at at later date.

She was a fun person. It was my honor to get to know her and care for her. Thank you for trusting me! She talked all the time about her 5 children and “the love of her life”. An amazing and funny lady!!!
