KNOTTS ISLAND, NC – Sharon Lea Grimes, 60, died August 11, 2023. Sharon was born Brunswick, GA to the late Doris Marie Adolph and Willaim Harvey Grimes. Sharon worked at the Knotts Island Market for over 20 years. She loved dogs and had rescued her current dog. Sharon was predeceased by her sister, Rosemarie Cowden.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Lundy Louis Cason, III; sisters, Nancy Bennett of Chesapeake, and Patty Ball (George) of Raleigh, NC; brother, William Grimes, Jr. (Caroline) of Virginia Beach; 2 nephews; 3 nieces; and a host of other family and friends.
