Shane Cameron Hernandez passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the age of 45. Shane was born in Bolton Landing, NY on July 24, 1970 to Santiago Hernandez of AZ and Christine (Don) Friday of Bolton Landing, NY. He graduated from Bolton Central in 1988 and immediately joined the US Navy stationed in Norfolk, VA. Shane loved the beaches and dunes, so after discharge from the Navy he decided to stay in Virginia to work and have a family. Shane lived to work, go to the gym, and previously competed in deadlift competitions at BRUTE.
Left to cherish Shane’s memory are his fiancée, Christy D’Domenicus; son, Kingston Hernandez; daughter Kristen King; daughter, Lydia D’Domenicus; son, Ellis  D’Domenicus;  sister, Jacoba Barboza of Bolton Landing, NY; brother, Chad Friday and his daughter Emery of Bolton Landing, NY along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Shane was predeceased by his loving maternal grandparents Frank and Clara Cameron of Bolton Landing.
A memorial to celebrate Shane’s life will be held, Friday, February 19, 2016 at 7:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave. Virginia Beach, VA 23451. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 5:00pm prior to the service. Memorial gifts appreciated to the scholarship fund to benefit his children.

this is from the son of shane. I miss him alot but i have been moving along without him. I miss you dad.
