I met Seth in Hampton in 1996. We were both freshly minted DJS and had similar and complementary styles and sounds. I spent many hours playing and listening to music with this good friend. Eventually, I moved away and as so often happens, we lost touch. I regret that so much as I offer my condolences to his surviving family. My family’s prayer as with you.

Not just a cousin, childhood best-friend but also a true brother in Christ.

My sister and I were truly blessed to grow up so close with our Cousin Seth. Some of my fondest childhood memories happened during our visits at Na-Na and Pop-Pop’s house, whether we were playing games with the adults, taking turns in Pop-Pop’s chair/throne down in the den, swimming in the pool, watching movies, throwing stuff (or pets) down the laundry Shute or walking to Putt-Putt Golf, didn’t matter we were ALWAYS having fun together. I always loved how he said “Ma’am” when answering female elders… I just remember him always being soooo polite and charming!
Lord, at the moment nothing seems to be able to help the loss I feel.
My heart is broken and my spirit mourns.
All I know is that Your grace is sufficient.
This day, this hour
Moment by moment
I choose to lean on You,
For when I am at my weakest Your strength is strongest.
I pour out my grief to You
And praise You that on one glorious day
When all suffering is extinguished and love has conquered
We shall walk together again.
