Russell A. Gaskill, 66, formerly of Newport News, passed away on January 23, 2022, in Williamsburg, VA.
Russell served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1972 – 1975. He worked in manufacturing for Print Pak until he retired
He loved his family and enjoyed playing basketball with his children and spending time fishing when he could. He was always ready for a good game of pool.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur R. Gaskill and Mary E. Gaskill. He is survived by his sons, Chris (Tonya) Gaskill, Dwayne Gaskill, and Phillip Gaskill; siblings, Patricia (Bob) Stamate and David (Lorie) Gaskill; and grandchildren, Madisyn and Estella; niece Shelby; and nephews, Adam, Tim, and Dan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.
