I have great memories of growing up in South Norfolk on Hull Street with my neighbors, the Morrisettes on Bainbridge Blvd. There was always something going on and if there wasn’t Griggs would take us to Shoe’s Drive In Restaurant in his truck. (I think he really enjoyed the girls on roller skates.) Roy was such a cute little fellow. I’m sorry we lost touch. Fay has kept me posted on recent events and I’m so sorry for the family’s loss. My heart and prayers are with you.

Uncle Roy,

I have many fond memories of you coming to CT., on your Harley to visit and spending time with my family. I especially remember the birthday cake from Peschells that you absolutely loved! (I can still see the big smile on your face) or the time we went to the park in your Winnebago…had lots of laughs! I’m sorry that we didn’t keep in touch much and I know that you are at peace now.
Love, your niece Debbie Morrisette-Koenig

Roy, Thanks for being the first one to bring me soft shell crabs to eat! Never had them before and love them. Thanks for teaching me how to fix your recipe for Buffalo wings. Had some good times at Faye and Mario’s with you when you were able to visit us here. Love your sister Sylvia.
