The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Martyr Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Rose’s favorite song was a Bing Crosby song that her late husband, Anthony always sung to her:
THE ONE ROSE (THAT’S LEFT IN MY HEART)
As recorded by BING CROSBY:
Your as sweet as the red rose in June, dear
I love you, adore you, I do
Each night through loveland we’d wander, sweetheart
Telling love stories anew
Out of a blue sky a dark cloud came rolling
Breaking my heart in two
Don’t leave me alone, I love only you
You’re the one rose that’s left in my heart
(Orchestral interlude)
Your as sweet as the red rose in June, dear
I love you, adore you, I do
Each night through loveland we’d wander, sweetheart
Telling love stories anew
Out of a blue sky a dark cloud came rolling
Breaking my heart in two
Don’t leave me alone, I love only you
You’re the one rose that’s left in my heart

Ms. Rose had such grace and class. She was a joy to see in the salon. She always had a smile on her face even when she didn’t feel well. She will be missed by all. We at Abracadabra Salon loved her.
May The Lord keep you all in perfect peace!
What a blessing to live such a long and beautiful life…
Sincerely,
Scherrie Gober
