Romeo Reginald Ramone Morris was born on August 16, 1987, in the Bronx, New York to Mr. Robert Reginald McConnel Jr. and Ms. Charlene Morris. Romeo departed this life on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Romeo attended Elementary, Middle, and High School in the Bronx, New York. He later
received his GED and continued to receive a host of trades and skills. His career path led him to obtain work as a Security Guard, Electrical Technician, and Construction Worker. He was
always highly motivated and displayed strong leadership abilities in his personal and
professional life. Romeoβs proudest moments was witnessing the birth of his children. Being a
father meant the world to Romeo and his favorite people called him dad. He cherished and loved creating memories and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Romeo was proceeded in death by his Father Mr. Robert Reginald McConnel Jr., his
Grandparents Mr. Lewis Morris and Mrs. Pinkie Morris; Aunt Lucille Morris (Sissy), Aunt
Hsien-Yi Morris, Aunt Jenny Rivera Morris; Uncle Willie Morris; Cousin Julius Martin.
He left behind to cherish his fond memories his mother Charlene Morris; Children: Autumn,
Aubree, and twins Royce and Riley Morris; Siblings: Shaniqua, Rosse, Ashley, Christine,
Andrew, Andre, Tiffany, and Imanie Morris, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, unclesΒ and
cousins.
Romeo was a God-Fearing man that loved to joke, laugh and show off his bright smile. He
enjoyed music, sports and the Jamaican culture. His children bought him great joy and the love he expressed for his devoted friend and mother of his children Crystal was undeniable. He was an extremely proud father, son, brother who will be forever loved and missed.
A funeral service for Romeo will take place at Altmeyer Funeral Homes Southside Chapel (5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462) at 4:00 PM. A visitation will take place immediately before the funeral beginning at 1:00 PM.

Anyone that knew you, knows that u had the power to brighten any room you walked into. Your smile and laughter was always contagious. The love and care you had for your family was admirable. You always strive for the best even when times were hard. To have known you the majority of my life and to watch you grow up and become a man of great character gives me comfort to know that you were able to have experiences that you will remember while you are awaiting to be reunited with your friends and family. I am so grateful to have had the ability to know you. You truly made a mark on my life that will never be erased. I pray for the Morris family in your time of sorrow. I pray that God surrounds each of you with love, joy, unity and comfort.
