Robin Stewart, born on April 8, 1960, in Washington, peacefully passed away on September 25, 2023, in Virginia. She was a magnificent soul who lived her life to the fullest, leaving behind an unforgettable legacy.

With a quick wit and a lively spirit, Robin approached each day with laughter and joy. Throughout her career as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at QVC Home Shopping Network, she expertly ensured that everything ran smoothly. However, it was outside of work where Robin truly thrived, indulging in her passions and making cherished memories.

When she wasn’t soaking up the sun on the beach or enjoying the calmness of the seas on a cruise, Robin could be found boating, feeling the wind in her hair. One of her greatest joys was engaging in daily conversations with her beloved sister, Barbara. Their bond was unbreakable, serving as a constant source of strength.

Robin’s pride and love for her five grandchildren and two daughters, Amanda and Nicole, knew no bounds. She delighted in their accomplishments and celebrated their milestones with immense enthusiasm. Alongside her family, Robin reveled in the beauty of country music and was an avid fan of court TV, especially Judge Judy’s witty comebacks.

True to her eclectic taste, Robin collected figurines and fine china, admiring their intricate details. Although she may not have been a natural green thumb, her inability to keep plants alive never deterred her from hosting backyard barbecues and family outings. The joy and camaraderie shared during these gatherings were incomparable.

Not one to shy away from new experiences, Robin attended events like being hypnotized to act like a chicken – surely a moment cherished by all who witnessed it! She also bravely took part in a hypnotism session to quit smoking, showcasing her determination and commitment to personal growth.

Surviving Robin are her two daughters Amanda and Nicole; her five adored grandkids; and her loving sister, Barbara; and her much loved four legged companion Journey. Let us come together to celebrate Robin’s remarkable life during a memorial service with a reception scheduled on October 22, 2023 at 1:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home- Southside Chapel.

As we bid farewell to Robin, may her spirited energy and zest for life inspire us to live each day to the fullest. She will be deeply missed but always remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and vibrant presence. Rest in peace, dear Robin.

Nanny Robin was a heck of a woman. To meet her was to love her. She had so much spunk and made an everyday effort to take care of her family. Her kindness knew no bounds. Shes definitely earned the highest spot in heaven, drinking white russian cocktails with her toes in the sand. We’ll miss her terribly. Until we meet again, get the rest you deserve, Nanny. We love you so much.
