Loving husband, son, and father passed away peacefully on October 22, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his father Robert L. Haywood. He left behind his mother Carolyn Haywood, her husband Mac Woodard, his loving wife of 34 years Cynthia Haywood, two children Robert D. Haywood, Melissa A. Haywood all from Virginia Beach. He also leaves two brothers Don R. Haywood and Brandon S. Haywood.
He loved going to the beach, he was an avid surfer, loved to fish and enjoyed classic T.V. westerns and music. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed by many friends and family.
You will always be loved by your family and friends.

Cindy and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Scott will truly be missed. Our prayers and condolences go out to you all. At least Scott is no longer in any pain. He’s probably up in Heaven sitting around a pond fishing, singing or doing something else he enjoyed doing. May these thoughts comfort you during this time of great loss.
Love,

You were my singing partner, and my buddy, I could always count on you to join in no matter what the song. I have so many memories of us singing and I will always cherish those memories. You have left us too soon and although I am saddened by this, I take comfort in knowing that there is no more pain. You are now looking down at us with that big smile on your face…till we meet again dear friend….
