Robert “Peck” Kesler, 64, of Portsmouth, passed away in the early morning hours of February 12th, 2022. Peck was the son of the late Joseph and Ruby Kesler. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his niece, Jacquelyn Luther.
Peck is survived by his sister, Deborah Ward and her husband Cliff, of Portsmouth; brother, Joseph William Kesler Jr., of Chesapeake; brother, Gregory Wayne Kesler and his wife Cindy, of Ocala, Florida; nephews Shawn, Joseph III, and Nicholas; niece Jessica Guerra and her husband Raymond; and two great-nephews.
Peck was a self taught plumber who would come to the aid of anyone who needed help. He enjoyed sitting outside, enjoying the sunshine. Peck was also an ardent player of Bingo. He would frequent the Bingo halls in his area up to four times a week. Peck was a collector of NASCAR cards, having multiple books filled with them. He liked watching NASCAR as much as he liked collecting their cards.
Peck will be missed by those that knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Chesapeake Chapel, at a later date.
