Terry, how I miss you! I was only lucky enough to have you in my life for the last year and a half, but I am forever changed by you. I came to you a broken, yet hopeful mess of woman and you lovingly and patiently help me find my joy again. The adventures we shared will be treasured in my memory forever. I miss your presence every second of every day, beginning with that first “Good morning, sweetheart” text waiting for me every morning and ending with our nightly conversation to wish one another sweet dreams and to say “I love you…..sleep well.” I miss us…you and I….loving and supporting one another through life’s ups and downs. But I wouldn’t trade my time with you for anything! You have changed me, nurtured me, loved me, in all of my imperfections and I am forever grateful. I know we will meet again one day, and what a day that will be! Until then, I will pray for your wonderful son, Spencer, and sister, Brenda for peace and comfort. How lucky was I? Loving you, and feeling your love in return. You were my fairy tale. I adore you and will keep you forever in my heart. All my love, always.

Terry was a dear dear friend, we had a special spiritual bond in the Lord. We could talk for hours about God! I think our longest was 6 hours on the phone. We laughed and cried and grew I. The Lord together. I miss my buddy, ( TBear is what his nickname was when we talked. Lol he probably would not appreciate me sharing that much. I am so thankful God brought him back into my life. I have known him since 7th grade. If you knew Terry you knew he loved to share the word, eat good food and golf. I know he is with our Lord and savior.

Terry was a very special man. He was the hardest working man I had ever met and we shared many, many great times together. We spoke at length when he became ill, and our conversations brought much peace to both of us. I will miss him and his love of cars, our long walks at the Nolan Trail and the Yorktown Battlefields.. I will cherish the memories forever. Thank you, Terry, for bringing me to Virginia and allowing me to be a part of your and Spencer’s lives. My wish is that you find the peace in your passing that you so fervently sought in your life on this earth. May you rest peacefully in heaven and know now how very much you were loved by your family and friends.
