Raymond Kreisman 94, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on April 8, 2022 at Beth Sholom surrounded by family members. He was born in Manhattan, New York on September 26, 1927 to Morris and Charlotte (Lotte) Kreisman. He served during WW II in the Merchant Marines as a radio operator. He later founded Space Electronics in Hackensack, NJ and co-owned EC Supply in Virginia Beach. Ray was an electronics wizard, a proficient pool player and an experienced yachtsman. He regaled all who knew him with his sense of humor.
Ray is survived by his wife, Esta Shapiro Kreisman, brother Leonard Kreisman, California, stepchildren Karen S. Feinberg, Stamford, CT, Richard N. Shapiro (Terri), Bari S. Roistacher (Ron), Nikki S. Roth (Bob), all of Virginia Beach, and his children, daughter Laura Armston (Gary), New York, Eric Kreisman, Florida as well as many grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Marcia Kreisman. Ray was a member of Temple Emanuel in Virginia Beach, VA; his funeral is 12 Noon at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, VA in coordination with Altmeyer Funeral Home of Virginia Beach.
