06/27/1959 - 05/15/2023

Randall Scott Gordon, affectionately known as “Randy,” passed away on May 15th, 2023 in Norfolk, VA. He was born on June 27th, 1959. He attended Booker T. Washington High School. Randy was 63 years old at the time of his passing.

Randy served his country for four years in the United States Air Force and later worked as a Master Electrician. He was proud of his work and always took great care in everything he did. But beyond his professional accomplishments, Randy was also an avid pool player, fisherman, and football fan. He loved the Washington Redskins. What brought him the most joy was making others smile. Randy had a talent for telling jokes and was always the life of the party.

Randy’s greatest achievement in life was his son, Garrett. He was incredibly proud of him and cherished every moment they spent together. The two shared a special bond and were inseparable.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Martha, and his brother, Darryl. He is survived by his son, Garrett; brothers, Doug Gordon and Russell Gordon; life-long friend, Rhonda Kronvall Thompson; and numerous other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He left a lasting impact on everyone he met and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
