MOYOCK, NC– Paula Christine McDaniel, 68, died June 6, 2017. Paula was born in Kansas City, KS to Evelyn Plunk Taylor and the late Richard Taylor. She was a member of Liberty Live Baptist Church and enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 27 years, Larry Ray McDaniel; her mother, Evelyn Taylor of Kansas City, KS; children, Shane C. Wray (Raquel) of Jupiter, FL, C. Hunter Wray of Jupiter, FL, Brett McDaniel of OK, Channele Payne (Chris) of Olathe, KS, and Jessica Tabales of Kansas City; brother, Richard Michael Taylor of Crested Butte, CO; grandchildren, Kendra, Taylor, Faith, Emma, William, Conner, Logan, Kaelin, Jonathan, Brittney, and Xavier; and great grandchild, Ayden.
A life celebration service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Liberty Baptist Church – Greenbrier, 1801 Sara Drive, Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to the Albemarle Hopeline c/o www.TMCFunding.com. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

Larry,
We are so sorry to hear of Paula’s passing. While we have only met her a few times since Raquel and Shane’s wedding, we feel we have a good understanding of her (and you) from the great things Shane has told us about you both. Obviously, she was a kind and loving mother. We know she will be missed dearly. We hope you will find comfort and understanding knowing that God loves you both and that you can trust in his love for support.
