On March 19, 2022, Paul Reed went home to be with the love of his life. Frankie waited 12 long years for him and she was getting pretty impatient. Nothing was more important to him than his family and he leaves behind Alma Reed, April Hagan, Judy Goode, Jessica Goode, Frank and Stacy Hawks, Matthew Hawks, Kaylen Hawks and “the prettiest little kitty in the world” Ziggy to keep him alive in their hearts.
There is no greater love than the bond between a dad and the cat he never wanted. Ziggy brought him joy and laughter in his later years and he cherished her, always showing off her picture to anyone and everyone. He was quick to show his love and affection to everyone who was privileged to call him family. He had a beautiful soul and a huge heart, a quick wit and the best sense of humor in the world. There will be a little less laughter in the world without him there to cause it but we will tell his favorite jokes for him whenever we can. We will carry his stories with us in our hearts and we will share them with those we love and in that way he will live on and on.
There has never been and will never be a greater man.
