Patricia E. Nelsen

Chesapeake – Patricia Eileen Nelsen, 66, died May 3, 2016. Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late James T. Burns, Sr. and Eleanor Johnson Burns. She had been very involved with the Deer Park, NY School System, was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Roman Catholic Church and above all, she loved her special nephew, Jonathan. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Burns Nelsen.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, James T. Burns, Jr of Richmond, Kathryn Parker (Jeffrey) of Chesapeake, and Theresa Gragnano (Peter) of Laurel, MD; nieces and nephews, Stephen, Christopher (Caleigh), Matthew (Amy), Kaitlin, Jonathan, Michael, Jennifer, Jessica (Scott) and Anthony.
The family will be celebrating Patricia’s life on May 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen Martyr Roman Catholic Church with father Brian Rafferty officiating.
