Nioka “Booty” Olveria Elder was born June 9, 1962 to Viola Woodson and Frank Jones. She spent her childhood, and majority of her life, in Smithfield, VA. She graduated from Smithfield High in 1980, and recieved her CNA license in December 2002. Nioka also worked for the Isle Wight School system, aiding special needs children. Nioka entered eternal rest on September 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by Frank Jones (2010).
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Carlos Wells (Tasha Wells); granddaughter Caris Wells; grandson Ty’zae Holloway; mother, Viola Woodson; brother, Frankie Elder (Vanessa Elder); sister, Velma Atkins (Pernell Atkins); brother, William Elder, Tommy Lee Jones (Charlene Jones), Nathan “Nuke”; sister, Sheila Wells (Sherman Wells), Eva “Shay” Jones (Larry Parrish), Teresa White and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
