Nicholas Steven Gould
June 21, 1986 ~ May 28, 2022
Nicholas “Nick” Steven Gould, 35, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Virginia Beach on May 28, 2022. Nicholas was born to Christine A. Paris and Norman C. Gould Jr. on June 21, 1986 in Melrose, Massachusetts. Nicholas spent his early years in Massachusetts, his teenage years in Berlin, CT where he graduated from Berlin High School in 2005, and his most recent ten years in Virginia Beach, VA.
Nick was very talented in his artistry; sketching, guitar playing and studies of Kobudo. Nick was an animal lover and empath who felt things very deeply. He had many animals that he loved, but none more than his ferret Harley. He had an interest in conspiracy theories and most recently, started listening to self help and motivational podcasts. He loved his family and his friends immensely, but the brightest and most fulfilling part of Nick’s life were his children, Jason (16) and Jayden (10) and his fiancé, Zeva.
Nick is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Norman C. Gould Sr. and Rhoda (Goodwin) Gould; maternal grandfather, Robert W. Bennett; maternal uncle, Brian R. Paris and paternal aunt, Elaine B. Gould.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his fiancé; Zeva Saylor; children; Jason Waida-Gould and Jayden Gould; parents; Christine A. (Paris) Kelly, and Sean J. Kelly; Norman C. Gould Jr. and Michelle (Martino) Gould; siblings; Alyssa Evans, Shauna Kelly, Rhianna Gould, Patrick Kelly, Lauren Gould and Samantha Kelly; maternal grandparents; Leo D. Paris and Diane M. (Gaffney) Paris, Dolores C. Bennett; many more family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place in both Virginia and Connecticut. Per Nick’s request, these will be very casual events and children are welcome to attend. Come share a story, share a hug, or just reflect peacefully.
