Michael R. “Pizza Man” Pietrantonio, 64, died March 1, 2023. Michael was born in Mt. Vernon, New York to the late Michael and Antonetta Bertone Pietrantonio. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy. Michael was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed watching and cheering for the NY Yankees and the NY Giants. He loved being outside soaking in the sun and spending time with his family, above all he loved spending time with his granddaughter Rylin. Michael was predeceased by his wife of 27 years, Tammy Lin Pietrantonio.
Left to cherish Michael’s memory is his loving son, Michael V. Pietrantonio; sister Patricia Ann Pietrantonio; granddaughter, Rylin Pietrantonio; beloved dog, Peanut; and a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 12:30 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
I had the pleasure of taking care of Mr. Pietrantonio over the past years when he was having outpatient testing done. He was a very kind and sweet man. I am so saddened by his passing. My condolences are with you and your family.

Pizza Man, my-coworker, my veteran brother, and most of all my beloved friend. I was truly blessed to have known you for the past 26 years. I will always remember trying to outdo you with our ugly sweater and Halloween costumes days at work. I will surely miss you until me meet again.
