Michael James Estes passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2023 in Virginia Beach, VA at the age of 28. Michael is survived by his mother, Renee Estes; father, Wilton Estes; sister, Shelly Zagata; brother, Matthew Estes; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael grew up in Chesapeake, VA where he graduated from Great Bridge High School in 2013. He studied at Tidewater Community College, trained as an emergency medical transporter, and most recently worked as an IT liaison.
Michael was an intelligent, funny, and caring young man. He loved spending time with family and friends, listening to music at home or going to concerts, hiking, and watching movies of many genres. His pop culture opinions were revered by all that knew him. Michael never met a person he didn’t like and his down to earth nature made him easy to love. He will be remembered for his beautiful eyes, kind smile, and the joy he brought to those that loved him. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family now and forever.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Avenue, Va. Beach.
