Michael Christopher Farmer, 36, passed away in his home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Mike was an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor with ODU Rent. He was predeceased by his mother Sharlene Brown.
He is survived by his two children, son Michael Christopher Farmer, 13, and daughter Sophia Rae Farmer, 4. He is also survived by his loving parents Gail and Edward Ray Farmer as well as countless friends.
Mike was not just a friend to so many but became a part of the family for everyone he knew. His witty sense of humor, vast knowledge of almost anything and his kind loving nature touched the hearts of everyone he loved and that loved him. He never turned down a chance to help friends, family or anyone that needed it.
Mike had many hobbies and interests including spending time working on cars with his dad Ray who he loved and admired so much, 40K with his closest friends, reading 40K lore/novels, video games, modeling/painting, Anime, and comic books. He loved football “Go Patriots!” and anything to do with cars and Nascar.
Most of all and most important was his love for his children. He loved spending time with them. Whether it was movie theater nights and gaming with Michael or trips to the park, the mall and playing Barbies with Sophia. He wore many hats and will forever be their hero. As Sophia says, “daddy can do anything”.  Mike lived his life with his children at the front of his heart. He loved being with them and always thought of them first.
Mike, you have left your mark in the hearts of so many and for that we are all grateful and will continue to laugh and smile and share your memory every day. We are all better people for having you in our lives and will cherish all the memories we have with you.

Rest easy angel. We love you.

He always had something for him a birthday party or a Xmas gift and he would make sure he took the time out to get him a Halloween costume and take him trick treating.
