Virginia Beach- With deep sadness the family of Mary Procopis, 89, announce her passing on Friday, March 24, 2017 with her loving husband and children by her side. The family would like to say a special thank you to her loving friends and care givers that where there for her every step of the way, showing her love until the end. They are forever grateful.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Your mother provided such warm hospitality and a caring smile. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.

Dear Jim, Alex, Elizabeth and all of the family members who loved Mary. We were shocked and saddened to receive Alex’s call that Mary had passed. We remember the first day that we laid eyes of the Procopis Family–you all were visiting your unfinished home in the early 1970’s next to ours. We watched you all walking across the boards laid down to avoid the mud. We hope for good neighbors and received so much more–you became of our friends. Mary’s hospitality and warmth are unforgettable and to be cherished. There were those wonderfully happy times such as Christmas when we all crowded around the dinning room table to stuff ourselves with many Greek goodies that Mary set out. When we meet again for the service in Virginia it will be sad, but we will be recalling and recounting the good memories that Mary has left as her gift to so many. With Love. Sam and Sandy

We did not know Mrs. Procopis personally but she raised an independent daughter who loved and sweetly cared for her mom until her passing. Our deepest condolences.
