Margarita Gonzales Ignacio, “Margie”, 60, went to be with God Elohim while surrounded by her loving family on March 9, 2022. Margie was born on January 21, 1962 to Ricardo and Mercedes Gonzales in Cavite City, Philippines. She was predeceased by her father and her brother, Ronald.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 33 years, Voltar; mother, Mercedes; children, Gilbert, Vincent, Matthew, Nathan, and J.R.; grandchildren, Taequan, Ty’ron, Ty’rik, Kam’rean, Sunni, Milo, Xiraiyah, Cadence, Heaven, A’nicia, Gi’zelle, Gi’ziah; and a host of loving siblings, Mary Ann, Jennifer, Gloria, Ramon, Rodolfo, and Rogelio; nieces, nephews, cousins, many special friends.
Margie loved her family more than anything. She was humble, generous, kind, and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. She was a true miracle and will be missed by so many.
Services will held at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Southside Chapel, 5033 Rouse Dr. Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.

Margie once called me a great friend. I will miss her dearly and am proud to have called her true friend. Margie is never truly gone. Her spirit lives on in the memories of family and friends. She was ridiculously happy in life!
