Margaret Marie Ippolito
Chesapeake – Margaret Marie Ippolito, 81, passed peacefully on January 20, 2016. She was born September 18, 1934 in Norfolk, VA to the late Alvah H. & Mary Lee (Cooper) Stewart. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Howard & Robert Stewart.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years Dominick Ippolito; daughters, Nancy Marie Carter and Mary Margaret (Troy) Pond; grandchildren, Meghan & Ashleigh Carter, and Joseph, Carly, & Jenna Pond; siblings, John Stewart, Mildred Bennett, Lucy Gillens, & Mary Stewart-Guthrie; and many nieces & nephews.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, & sister who had a heart of gold.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday at 12:00 pm in St. Matthew Catholic Church, 3314 Sandra Ln, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am -12:00 pm. A burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the mass.
