My sincerest condolences to Mr. Manford’s family and friends on the passing of a very good man, colleague, and friend. Although I didn’t work with him for a long time, it was a very impressionable time. The sense of humor this man had was truly uncanny. It made for wonderful work days and great memories. Fair winds and following seas my friend.

I just wanted to let everyone know what a good man Manford was. I worked with him at Oceana, he was a dedicated worker, a true gentleman, a great friend, and just an all around good guy to be around. He always had a smile, a funny story and a kind word for everyone. Manford was a loyal man and he truly loved his family and friends.

Dear Nosay family:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mr. Nosay use to pull my mother, Alice White from Creeds/later moved to Knotts Island, on Roller Skates behind his bicycle many years ago and, of course they were neighbors for many years. Mama and I went to see him just before he went to the Nursing Care Facility and he had many stories to tell. He will be greatly missed. Mama passed away on June 14th and I am certain that they are sharing stories together.

With deepest sympathy,

Patti Giancola and Pete & Diana Ewell.

My prayers and thoughts are with your family. I enjoyed the times at family gatherings that Poppa Bear would come hang out. We would talk old music and old stories back in our times. RIP, my friend.
