Lisa M. Bradford, 57, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Staunton, Virginia to Beverly Creal and the late John S. Creal Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 32 years, Donald D. Bradford Jr.;son, Derrick M. Bradford; sisters, Elizabeth Kelley (Addison) of Dallas, TX, and Cynthia Laxson of St. Joseph, MO; brothers, James and Steven Creal, both of St. Joseph, MO; and many other family members who will miss her dearly.
Lisa was a proud military wife for 12 years. She was an active member for over 20 years at Kempsville Christian Church where she also taught in the God’s Tods class on Sunday mornings. Lisa offered much support for Derrick’s involvement in sports, cheering him on at all of his games. Donald and Derrick were the most important people in her life. The glow in her smile the day her son was baptized was a reflection of her profound relationship with the Lord. Everyone would remember Lisa for her dignity, grace and smile, but most of all for being a blessing in their lives.
The family will receive friends from 2-3PM Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Kempsville Christian Church, 5424 Parliament Dr., Virginia Beach with a memorial service to follow at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kempsville Christian Church Children’s Ministry. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.

I am sorry for your loss and offer my condolences. May each of you be comforted by looking forward to the time when all causes of death, and the sorrow that follows, will be removed from the earth forever. (Rev. 21:4; Psalm 37:11,39)
God always fulfills his promises. (Numbers 23:19)
Sincerely,

I have always enjoyed talking to Lisa over the years – our sons are almost the same age and we often compared notes on what was going on in their lives. Don and Derrick, my heart goes out to you during this difficult time. May the peace of God be with you and your family.
Although I did not know Lisa well, I always saw her with a smile on her face at church. She always waved hi to everyone and you could see how much she loved the Lord. My sympathies go out to Don and Derrick at this time and all the family. All of you will be in our prayers.
