Sorry to hear of LeRoy’s passing. He and I worked together for many years at Norfolk International Terminal in the refrigeration dept as Charter Members of Local 1970, International Longshoremans Association. We shared many long hours, and lots of laughter over the years until his retirement.
Leroy and I continued to talk when our paths crossed and he always was cheerful and willing to help with any questions I asked.
He will be missed.

When we heard the news
That LeRoy had passed away
We were very sad
And did not know what to say.

We were truly blessed
When God sent LeRoy our way.
We have had a lot of fun
With LeRoy and his wife Faye.

LeRoy will be missed
That’s one thing we all know,
But his legacy will live on
Through the kind deeds he liked to bestow.

When you think of LeRoy
Focus on how he blessed you
Then follow his example
And you bless other people too.

Praying for Faye and the family.

Leroy, I will miss you, your sage advice and wit. While family and friends are heart broken and grieve your loss, they may take comfort knowing you are in a far better place with our Lord and savior. Having just lost my daughter, I know the pain and grief family members are going through. God bless and keep you in his loving arms. Our best wishes and prayers are with your family and friends

LeRoy, I can’t describe what I am feeling right now. If I can’t, then I know your family cannot. You always had such a sweet smile and would take the shirt off your back to help someone in need. You will be missed by everyone that you came in contact with. And while your family’s hearts are grieving, they have the comfort that you are sitting at the right hand of Jesus. Spread your wings and continue to watch over the beautiful family that was blessed to know you.
