Levy Thomas Lawrence, Jr.

Levy Thomas Lawrence Jr. (Tommy) 78 passed away Friday October 14, 2022 in Norfolk Virginia. Tommy was born July 14th in Aydlett North Carolina to the late Levy Thomas Lawrence and Martha Lawrence (Sutton). Tommy worked as a Tankerman for Allied towing company. He worked for them faithfully for 58 years. He also married the love of his life Sue married for 53 years. Who preceded him in death by only two month’s. Tommy enjoy the outdoors, listening to old music, and going to the mountains. Left to cherish Tommy’s memories is loving daughter Tara and her husband Paul; Sister Pauline Peden, Aunt Libby Helkey, cousin Eugene Sutton, nephew’s and niece’s. Tommy was an old country boy and amazing husband, daddy, and friend who will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM on Saturday October 29th at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Drive in Virginia Beach.
