VIRGINIA BEACH – Lawrence (Larry) Jeffrey Weddle, 61, cherished son, brother, uncle and friend went to be with the Lord April 28, 2022. Larry was born in Norfolk to Walter Weddle and the late Elizabeth Weddle. He was a faithful member of Kempsville Christian Church. Larry was a 1979 Bayside High School graduate. He was a house builder and enjoyed golf, watching old television shows and loved to dance.
Larry is survived by his loving Dad, Walter; brothers and sisters, Debra Lane (Allen), Walter (Jay) Weddle Jr., Lori Sellers (Terry), and Steven Weddle (Megan); six nieces and nephews, Neil Sellers (Amber), Millie Lane (Aaron), Morgan Sellers, Gavin Weddle, Tara Sellers, Blakely Weddle, great nephew Adrian Sellers, and great niece Savannah Coker.
The visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, from to 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach. A Celebration of Life service will follow in the Altmeyer Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Kempsville Christian Church Restoration Hope Fund.
