Lance died unexpectedly Monday, June 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett (Mickey) Joyner; grandparents; best friend, Debbie Sechriest; and numerous relatives.
He is survived by his mother, L. Carol Joyner; sister, Dawn A. Joyner; brother, Kevin A. Joyner; stepfather, Jimmy Crewe; aunt, Joyce Bosley; uncle, Alvin Joyner (Bettie); cousins, Scott Feerrar Joy), Dale Feerrar, Amber Feerrar (Michael), Michelle Eshelman (Andy); a multitude of friends; and his beloved dog, Cookie, who will miss all her treats – he loved spoiling her.
Lance was employed by Southern Plumbing. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. His happy place was time spent at “the farm” and “at the office” with close friends.
The family will receive friends 2 pm Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, followed by a 3 pm Celebration of Life.

Lance was a very nice person. He will surely be missed by his family and friends. I know I sure will miss his friendship and personality.
