CHESAPEAKE – Lance Albert Coss, 61, died April 6, 2022. Lance was born in Margaretville, NY to the late Albert Andrew and Doris Loretta Coss. Lance was a veteran having served in the US Marines for 20 years. The then worked as a manager in the dairy department for a local grocery store. Lance was an avid fisherman.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 17 years, Loren J. Monasterio-Coss; children, Jerimiah, Courtney, and Zachery Coss of GA, Candice Coss of NY; and Andrea Carr- Moriarty (Aaron) of Virginia Beach; siblings, Loretta Lange of Roxbury, NY and Dodd Coss of NY; grandchildren, Addison, Allyssa, Emma, and Rosemary; and a host of other family and friends.

You couldn’t imagine how many times I wish I could turn back those hands of TIME… There is soooooo much I’ve missed when it comes to you dad..! WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL…. I pray that I see you again soon! I WILL always and FOREVER miss you.. I love you dad!! I had found myself HAVING THAT urge to go fishing and I went out and bought a new pole and got some old school tricks and lures… And I SWEAR I was COMING … God knows I’m telling the truth! Something TOLD ME deep inside that I needed to hurry! But… I wasn’t able to make it in time! YOU CAN REST IN PEACE KNOWING I WILL SURVIVE..! I love you dad
