Kenneth Wayne Yelle III, 4, died unexpectedly July 9th, 2022 at CHKD, Chesapeake, Virginia.  He was born April 6th, 2018 in Chesapeake, Virginia to Kenneth Yelle Jr and Heather Moffitt.
Kenny was a loving child who brought joy to the lives of everyone he had the pleasure of meeting.  He was constantly trying to fix things with Daddy or snuggling with Mommy.  He loved to play with his older sisters.  While Kenny was nervous of the world around him, if Daddy was with him he could do anything.  He was a very giving child, trading toys with his older sisters when they didn’t like what toy they got.  Kenny donated two of his heart valves to two children who were not expected to make it past 1 year old. His last memory was playing with his sister and getting a hug from both his mommy and daddy before being taken to the hospital. At this time, there is no known reason or explanation as to why or how Kenny passed.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Heather Moffitt; father, Kenneth Yelle Jr; and two older sisters, Scarlette Maxson and Violet Yelle.  He is also survived by many extended family members.  He is predeceased by his grandfather, Kenneth Yelle Sr.
A memorial service will be held on July 18th at 11 a.m. at Altmeyers Funeral Home – Chesapeake Chapel, 929 S Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake with a grave-side following at Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach.  Those who wish to remember Kenneth in a special way may make gifts in his memory to CHKD Pediatric Urgent Care – Virginia Beach, 3960 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach.  Arrangements made by Altmeyers Funeral Home – Chesapeake.

Daddy (Kenny yelle)

was treated like royalty his entire life. He always tried to be brave for daddy but was scared of the world. He loved his sisters snuggling them, always following them around to play. Anything they did “me too, mee too”. He did anything he could do to help everyone. If sissy didn’t like her toy she got He would offer his to trade just to make his sister happy. We are all gonna miss our little prince, he deserved every bit of love he got. He always did for others before he thought about himself. He was a royal in our lives, so pure and loving. we will ALWAYS love him and find comfort in he finally gets to play with his grandfather (my dad) that he never got the chance to meet. He would be proud of everyone who have worked with us to set everything up. Just know you may have not noticed but he has hugged every single one of you

Kenny was the sweetest little boy I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. I wasn’t able to spend as much time with him as I would have liked but the time that I did get to spend with him he always had a smile on his face. He loved to play with Daddy and be held by Mommy. He loved his snuggles and kisses. He is a special little boy and he will be missed greatly. We love you baby boy!
