Kayleigh Christine Sexton, known for being the best Mom for her girls and love for all things Stitch, unexpectedly left us on October 3, 2023, in VA, at the age of 35. Born on February 25, 1988, in PA, Kayleigh lived a vibrant life that revolved around her four daughters, creating unforgettable memories and always embracing her unique interests.

From her beloved Stitch coffee cups to her cozy Stitch pajama pants, Kayleigh’s adoration for the mischievous blue alien knew no bounds. She cherished every moment spent with her daughters, whether it was shopping escapades, enjoying movies at Cinema Cafe, or splashing around in their backyard pool under the warm sun.

Aside from being an exceptional homemaker and lovingly taking care of her precious girls, Kayleigh had a flair for arts and crafts. Her creative spirit found solace in scrapbooking, acrylic painting on canvas, and embellishing ceramics with her personal touch. Oh, how she loved getting lost in the rhythm of painting, letting her imagination run wild.

But let’s not forget about Kayleigh’s passion for all things beauty-related. She took pride in styling hair and painting nails, especially when it involved spending quality time with her daughters. Their shared giggles and bonding moments will forever be treasured.

When it came to music, Kayleigh’s taste was as diverse as it gets, spanning from Fleetwood Mac’s soothing melodies to the energizing beats of Machine Gun Kelly. Her playlists were a reflection of her free-spirited nature and zest for life.

Beyond her family, Kayleigh pursued further education after high school, taking a course in massage therapy. The journey that followed allowed her to meet the love of her life, Garrett, in 2017. Together, they embarked on an incredible adventure that culminated in marriage in 2020, a union built on profound love and unwavering support.

Kayleigh’s sudden departure leaves an indescribable void in the hearts of her cherished husband, Garrett Sexton; her four adoring daughters Sabrina, Sydney, Shayleigh, and Miranda. She also leaves behind her mother Kathy Gilmore; Grandmother Marlene Brown; and beloved Aunt Sue and Aunt Brenda Smith, who will forever hold her memory close.

Services to honor Kayleigh’s vibrant and memorable life will be announced at a later date. As we gather to remember her infectious spirit and celebrate a life well-lived, let us find solace in the joy she brought to those around her.

In Kayleigh’s absence, may her loving spirit guide her family and friends through this difficult time. May her memories be a source of comfort, reminding us all to live life with a touch of humor and a passion as genuine as her love for Stitch. And may she find eternal peace, reunited with her precious Pittbull companion, Lilo, who preceded her in death.

Rest now, dear Kayleigh. Your vibrant presence will be deeply missed, but your vivacious spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

Garrett, Kathy and the children
Please accept our deepest sympathy for the families.
I have known Kayleigh since she was a baby, being born 6 months before our daughter.
Kathy was a wonderful mother and grandma to her daughters kids.
Always putting them first.
Kayleigh was definitely a free spirit and loved to run like the wind.
She always had a crazy sense of humor and usually always cracking jokes.
I’m praying for all of ypu during this difficult time.
May God give you strength and hope that you will always have her watching over you.
Love you all
Prayers and big hugs from your friend.
I’m here if you ever need a voice to comfort you!
