Justin Karl Page, 32, passed away December 11, 2015 in Virginia Beach. Predeceased by his mother, Nancy Page, grandfather, Daniel Page, grandmother, Benjie Page and grandfather, Hugh O’Handley. A graduate of Tallwood High School and Old Dominion University, Justin had a love of history and movies and a deep appreciation of nature and all critters domestic and wild. As a child and into adulthood, he spent countless hours exploring the ponds and streams of Virginia Beach, capturing and studying reptiles and amphibians. He had a special affinity for alligator snapping turtles, which he would capture using only a stick and his bare hands. Justin enjoyed fishing trips and gatherings with family and friends, spending time in the ocean body boarding, weightlifting and gardening with his grandmother. Justin enjoyed reading and learning about World War II and was an avid collector of G.I. Joe action figures. At ODU, Justin studied business and finance and applied that knowledge as an entrepreneur investing in real estate and business enterprises. A true football fanatic, Justin participated in fantasy leagues and was a lifelong San Francisco 49’ers fan. While he is gone too soon, we will never forget his smile and he will live in our hearts forever. Please consider improving the health of Virginia Beach waterways by donating in Justin’s memory to Lynnhaven River Now at www.LRNow.org.

Justin had such an inquisitive spirit, he would frequently catch one off guard with his questions of and comments about life and the world. You could always count that whatever your response, Justin would remind you decades later, with that check to check grin. He and his brother Devin are the closest I will ever have as children of my own and I will miss all that Justin and I shared throughout our life together. I pray that in his passing we all find a spark to be better in our own lives, fulfill the potential ahead of us and connect to the natural world in which we live. I will miss you forever.
Your Loving Uncle,
Chris
